I could not have said it any better myself. The proposed Albany County (NY) ban on polystyrene food packaging will put undo burden on local businesses. This article by one Albany County Legislator sums it up perfectly.

Any ban that is for health safety shoulf be taken seriously. I bet the companies that were producing products with uranium in them in the early 1900’s also complained that they couldnt use uranium anymore. Im not surprised to see a company complaining about losing money.
Interesting view point although foamed polystyrene is neither radioactive or harmful to human health.
